WiTA participated in the first ever female led convoy in Australia to raise funds for kids experiencing a cancer diagnosis. Truckers from around Australia flocked to Adelaide for the convoy and raised over $142,000 - what a great show of support for a worthy cause by the Adelaide trucking community.
WiTA hosted our inaugral 2024 Toots awards lunch and National Female Truckies Day on Saturday 6th July 2024. We had a fabulous afternoon and enjoyed a heart warming and hillarious presentation from Indigenous female driver, Kattie Risk, and a panel interview with four drivers who shared stories of life on the road for female truckies.
